In support of Yungen’s single release of ‘Do It Right’ featuring Sneakbo and Haile, Be-Hookd created a microsite connected to Yungen’s Spotify that signed users up for admission for his secret gig as well as engaged them to tweet a pre-populated tweet in order to reveal a first visual of the video for ‘Do It Right’.
The microsite for the Spotify focused campaign was developed and set up in-house.
BE-HOOKD DIGITAL utilized Spotify’s API in order to collect names for attendees of the secret event who received an automated email with a code granting them admission on a first-come, first-served basis. By logging into their Spotify accounts the fans automatically followed Yungen’s artist profile and Spotify playlist. The user journey then asked them to tweet a pre-populated message amplifying awareness for the single and event. Followed by a change to a microsite that faked a ‘stream to unlock’ until a live stream went live which was fed into Facebook by Be-Hookd.
- A total of 604 sign-ups, i.e. artist and Spotify playlist follows
- 506 original tweets, 51 RTs and 560 total tweets generated a Twitter reach of 2M
- The email open rate was at an above average high of 44.9%
- The Facebook Live achieved 22.9K organic reach, and a total of 3.6K engagements
